The purpose of ALUMNETWORK is to connect alumni + students + industry for
the success of all through communication, networking, knowledge, and mentoring.
After teaching at Auburn University, I realized I wanted to continue to connect professionals and students. As a teacher, I found that the students were motivated to find internships and jobs but did not know who was out there, where to find them, and how to communicate with them.
Thus ALUMNETWORK was created in 2015 and began with a handful of Auburn University alums whom I knew personally. It quickly grew to a couple hundred alums/professionals willing to give back with their knowledge, connections, and time. The alum/professional list will never cease to grow and I am happy to report it is growing each month.
ALUMNETWORK benefits both students and alums/professionals. The network provides internship and job opportunities to both students and professionals via a private Facebook group and email list serve. It also connects professionals with professionals, and professionals with students for networking.
Networking is mandatory
for success in any industry.

where the networking begins!
ALUMNETWORK is growing and expanding beyond the apparel industry. It now hosts students and alums in PR, marketing, communications, graphic design, social media, photography, and events. Many of the alum members find themselves in a mix of industries, thus the natural expansion for AlumNetwork.

FOR STUDENTS:
FOR ALUMS / PROFESSIONALS:
THE MENTOR PROGRAM has been designed to further connect and grow professionals and students through a focused 20 week program that assists both the mentor and mentee to communicate better and network better.
The program is hosted twice a year and is available to 10 mentor + mentee pairings each time. The mentors and mentees are provided 10 weekly prompts throughout the program to help them learn and communicate. Accountability and check-ins ensure everyone gets the most out of the program!
The Spring program is already underway. Applications for the spring program will open this Summer.
