Though the work-from-home lounge pants + blazer outfits are still in rotation, it is time to add some items to the fall wardrobe as we have more meetings and events outside of Zoom. I decided to do a mini Amazon Fashion haul to try a few items out. I am sharing 3 items I purchased and will be adding to my #WorkingWardrobe this fall/winter season.
I am a firm believer in a balance of quality investment pieces + lower-cost trendier pieces. All 3 items are $24-$42! Amazon has many different affordable fashion brands. Once I found a piece I liked, I would search the brand to find more items.
My biggest piece of advice when shopping Amazon Fashion is to really look at the materials, reviews on fit, and sizing charts. I was surprised by the material of some of the pieces and even returned 2 items because of the fabric and fit.
I love layering and blazers. The structure of blazers are great if you have a larger chest. It also instantly elevates your outfit no matter your dress code. I was originally searching for a “blazer vest” and stumbled across this blazer cape. It comes in multiple colors. I initially bought the grey one but it was a light grey and washed me out for the winter months. I love the navy color.

I have A LOT of black dresses. But for this fall, I wanted a casual knit dress that had sleeves. I saw this half wrap dress on @queenofsleeves on Instagram and loved how effortless it looked. It is super comfortable AND flattering. It does not wrap across the chest so you don’t have to worry about gapping. The weight of the fabric is heavy enough to be opaque and hang well but light enough for the crazy weather of Alabama!

I LOVE this sweater vest! IT HAS POCKETS! I have always been a fan of jumpers, vests, etc. Maybe it’s all the years of uniforms as a child. I am excited to layer this over a white button-down as well as a turtleneck. The length is perfect for leggings or jeggings.

Fabric: heavier sweater so it will not cling to you (which I like)
